A Little Info About Us ...
Fairy tales do come true.
Once upon a time, a while ago, 4 fair maidens created and played with paper. They did different things. They made beautiful rubber stamped cards, hand made books, and mixed media art. Soon, they decided to teach classes. They often took classes from each other and their reputation grew and they were known wide and far.
One fair maiden, Barbara Shelly decided to open her own store. She named it Persnickity’s. She played with paper and made beautiful books. She hired fair maiden Michelle Hawkins to help her run the store and teach classes. Fair maiden Kathie Shepherd started teaching book making classes there. They were happy.
In another part of the kingdom, fair maiden Judy Ross was teaching mixed media and rubber stamping classes. She heard about the reputation of Persnickity’s and decided to find out about it. At that time, something unique was happening. The 3 fair maidens were looking for a partner to buy a rubber stamp store (Katie’s Closet) and transformed Persnickity’s into a business called ‘The Creative Quest’. An agreement was made and the maidens joined forces to become ‘The Creative Quest’ This happened in the year 2004, month of January, day 1.
The maidens continue to be happy and play… with paper, books, mixed media, clay, and ephemera. They reign in the land of ‘The Creative Quest’ teaching classes and waiting on you. Come to the land of ‘The Creative Quest’ and give birth and validation to your imagination.
They continue to live happily ever after. Come visit them.
