The classic answer is “Anything you want”, but honestly, anything you want. Handmade books make wonderful gifts, journals, recipe books, idea books. |
We make artist’s books. That is, please don’t bring us your 200 year-old family bible that needs a new binding. We make books from scratch, folded, sewn, glued. Address books, journals, albums, recipe books, etc. We alter old books or make new books from old ones. |
Your basic kit is always a good idea. Your basic kit should include scissors, a craft knife, a cutting mat, pencil, black inkpad, ruler (straight edge), double stick tape and/or glue stick. You might also want to include a Japanese screw punch, an eyelet setter, box cutter, small pair of pliers, needles, and a sewing cradle. |
